• General • Hemp is one of the oldest, most versatile and undemanding crop plants of humankind. Ropes and Sails were made from it. The Gutenberg Bible was first printed on hemp paper. Hemp serves as clothing, for furniture manufacturing, as animal bedding. Even today hemp could be used in paper industry with much less chemical pollution. Admixture of hemp fiber would increase the quality of recycled paper. In textile industry and hospital supply hemp could replace cotton polluted with pesticides. A more modern use is the admixture of hemp fibers to plastics (bio-plastic) and building materials. Hemp is even used in the interior of Mercedes and BMW cars.

What is hemp?

• GENERAL • The botanical name is Cannabis Sativa. Most people love it or despise it as a drug. In fact it is the most consumed drug in the world and probably the least harmful one. Hemp is much more than a drug. It is multidimensional.

First of all hemp is the name for drug free Cannabis. What is drug free? Cannabis has unique ingredients: cannabinoids, no other plants have We humans (our pets as well) have cannabinoid receptors in our bodies. We even produce endocannabinoids for healthy homeostasis. The most famous of those cannabinoids is THC (Delta 9 – tetrahydrocannabinol) giving you euphoria and softens your judgement. This molecule is the only ingredient that makes Cannabis a so called drug. Much research is conducted on THC and Cannabidiol CBD but more than 100 other cannabinoids build the health matrix of the plant.
