Hemp Juice Lady strongly supports the crowdfunding campaign for the Medical Cannabis Declaration (MCD), as silver donor. We believe in the necessity of such organisations to raise further awareness and bring about political change, as well as educate and inform the public and practicioners on the incredible benefits and uses of medical cannabis. They are for example going to do this by providing free online lectures (available in 10 languages).
The Medical Cannabis Declaration started the global information campaign “Yes to Cannabis as Medicine”, with this video.

So who is behind the MCD?
Dr med Franjo Grotenhermen, Director of the MCD charity
Renowned expert on the medical use of cannabis and Executive Director of the International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines (IACM), with several books and scientific articles published on the topic.
MA Luis Sarmento, Project coordinator
Author of several papers on cannabis and cannabinoids. Joined MCD in 2015, where he is project and communications coordinator.
Uses of medical cannabis
1.Chronic pain of different types, from neuropathic pain to migraine;
2.Chronic inflammatory diseases, such as Crohn’s disease and rheumatism;
3.Psychiatric conditions, such as severe depression and posttraumatic stress disorder;
4.Neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and Tourette syndrome;
5.Appetite loss and nausea from different origins;
but also a number of other medical conditions, including asthma and glaucoma.
MCD goals
- Become a knowledge hub for scientifically and medically backed up information
- Create and maintain a database on characteristics of medicinal cannabis
- Foster cooperation between existing cannabis networks
- Globally promote legal access to medicinal cannabis
